Geraldine Orlando focuses her practice on intellectual property protection, guiding clients in securing and safeguarding their valuable intangible assets.
Before joining Caldera Law, Geraldine gained experience by interning for Judge Alan Fine, serving as inside counsel for a medical equipment company, and working at two well-known local intellectual property firms. She is a member of the Florida Bar and is currently awaiting formal registration with the USPTO as a patent attorney.
Geraldine earned dual degrees from the University of Miami in Marine Science & Biology and Ecosystem Science & Policy, with minors in Chemistry and Business Management. She graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she demonstrated leadership as President of the IP and Cyber Law Society, Executive Editor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, and Treasurer of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers student chapter. During her legal studies, she was selected to participate in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law Institute — an intensive program sponsored by Microsoft to foster careers in intellectual property law.
