She works closely with a network of trusted counsel around the world to support clients with international product launches and brand expansion.
Janet has represented athletes, influencers, entertainers, fashion designers, and sports teams in endorsement deals, name, image, and likeness (NIL) agreements, licensing and merchandise collaborations, co-branded business ventures and other brand partnerships—helping them build, protect, and monetize their personal brands both on and off the field.
A Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property, Janet is currently serving her third non-consecutive term on the Florida Bar's Intellectual Property Certification Committee. She has been selected as a Super Lawyer—an honor awarded to only 5% of attorneys in the U.S.—for six years.
Before joining Caldera Law, Janet spent a decade operating her boutique IP practice, Maven IP. Among all of her accomplishments, Janet is most proud to be mom to two boys, Zayden and Quinton, rising stars in both academics and athletics. When she’s not advising clients or on the tennis court, she’s cheering them on from the sidelines.
