Contact Information

While using our Website, we may collect your first and last name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number. You consent to and will receive emails from us and our partners at the email address provided.

If you create a user account for the Website, we may collect your Contact Information.

How We Protect Your Information

The security of your information is important to us and we have put security measures in place to protect the information that you share with us from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed in an unauthorized manner.  From time to time, we review our security procedures to consider appropriate new technologies and methods.

Rights and Choices Regarding Information

Email Opt-Out. If you no longer wish to receive communications from us via email, you may opt-out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us at contact@caldera.law and providing your name and email address so that we may identify you in the opt-out process.  Once we receive your instruction, we will promptly take corrective action. Please note that registered users on the Website cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to their account.  

Accuracy and Updating Your Information. Our goal is to keep your information accurate, current, and complete. If any of the information you have provided to us changes, please let us know via the “Contact Us” details at the end of this Policy.  For instance, if your email address changes, you may wish to let us know so that we can communicate with you. If you become aware of inaccurate personal information about you, you may want to update your information. If you have created a user account for the Website, you may access, review, and make changes to your User Registration by following the instructions in the Website. We are not responsible for any losses arising from any inaccurate, inauthentic, deficient or incomplete personal data that you provide to us.

Complaints. If you believe your rights relating to your personal information have been violated, please contact us via the “Contact Us” details provided at the end of this Policy.

Nevada Residents. You may submit a verified request to us at contact@caldera.law to request that we not make any sale (as defined under Nevada law) of any covered information (as defined under Nevada law) that we have collected or will collect about you. Please provide your name and contact information in your request. We will respond to your request in accordance with Nevada law. 

Third-Party Websites and Services

This Policy only applies to the Website and it does not apply to any third-party websites or applications.  Our Website may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit. Because of the dynamic media capabilities on the third-party’s site, it may not be clear to you which links are to external, third-party resources. If you click on an embedded third-party link, you will be redirected away from our website to the external third-party website. You can check the URL to confirm that you have left the Website.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services. We cannot and do not (1) guarantee the adequacy of the privacy or security practices employed by or the content and media provided by any third parties or their websites, (2) control third parties’ independent collection or use or your information, or (3) endorse any third-party information, products, Websites or websites that may be reached through embedded links on the Site.

The information they collect about your online browsing activities over time and across different websites and other online Websites may be associated with your personal information and used to provide you with targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ technologies or how they may be used. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), as well as other data privacy regulations, restrict the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information from and about children on the Internet.    Our Site and services are not directed to children aged 13 or younger, nor is information knowingly collected from children under the age of 13.  No one under the age of 13 may access, browse, or use the Site or provide any information to or on the Site.  If you are under 13, please do not use or provide any information on the Site (including, for example, your name, telephone number, email address, or username).  If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 13 without a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent, we will take steps to stop collecting that information and delete it. “Do Not Track” Policy Under California Privacy Protection Act

Our Website does not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) requests and/or signals.

The Website does utilize third-party application programming interfaces controlled by third parties, such as to display maps and graphs, that may attempt to track your activity across other sites that utilize those interfaces. Some third-party websites may keep track of your browsing activities. If you are visiting such websites, you can set your preferences in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. California Shine the Light

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use may be entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information about the information we shared, if any, with other businesses for direct marketing uses. At present, we do not share your personal information with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing, if any, will be included in our response. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our Site may make any changes to their information at any time by contacting us at contact@caldera.law.

California Privacy Rights for Minor Users (California Business and Professions Code § 22581)

California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits California residents under the age of 18 who are registered users of the Website, and any associated services or applications, to request and obtain removal of content or information they have publicly posted. To request removal of such information, and if you are a California resident, you can contact us by email at contact@caldera.law and include the email address associated with your account.

Be aware that your request does not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of content or information posted on the Website and that the law may not permit or require removal in certain circumstances.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may add to, change, update, or modify our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect any changes to how we treat your information or in response to changes in law.
